Fused glass and genuine leather jewelry
The art works “Masks” and “Interpretation” created in 2014 were a source of inspiration for jewelry. The first was a magnet with a face. After that several other shapes were created and several jewelry series were formed.
A glass casting technique was used in making the glass jewelry. It is a time-consuming and accurate handiwork. The shapes that are used for glass melting are poured. After melting process each glass detail is processed and worked into a jewelry piece. Genuine leather, chamois leather and finished jewelry fittings are used for jewelry.
Glass jewelry with face from the series “Meeting” is about engagement and relationships. I believe that no person in our lives is a coincidence, but each person we meet has a special role and significance.
My source of inspiration for Glass jewelry from the “Flowers” series is a summer garden in the countryside with lush peony flower bushes full of scent and large peony flowers.

Stikla rotām ir izmantota formā kausēta stikla tehnika. Tas ir laikietilpīgs un rūpīgs roku darbs. Tiek atlietas ģipša formas, kurās tiek kausēts stikls. Pēc kausēšanas katra stikla detaļa tiek apstrādāta un ielikta rotā. Rotām tiek izmantota dabīga āda, zamšāda un gatavā rotu furnitūra.
